The New Name in Sports Branding

Coast Graphics Limited is a new name in sports and event branding, but its heritage draws on over 20 years of experience. Coast amalgamates two businesses which were both successful in their own right, building its foundations on the experience accrued by these enduring companies. The first majored in motor sport graphics, whilst the second primarily focused on hull and sail branding, along with custom clothing personalisation.

These combined resources now make Coast Graphics one of the leading suppliers in the event branding marketplace, with the ability to offer solutions across the globe.

The fluctuating and ever-accelerating world of motor sport was the origin of our experience, triggered when Williams F1 teamed up with Renault to form their challenge within the British Touring Car championship. The Renault Lagunas needed to be branded to reflect the success of each of the parties and we were chosen as the graphic supplier for this high profile project. The world media covered the launch of the race cars and the visual impact, created and implemented by our team of technicians, was instrumental in that coverage, and in raising the profile of the company. Success quickly followed and the Williams Renault Touring Car team won televised races and the eventual championships, with Swiss driver Alan Menu and rising star Jason Plato; now the most successful British touring car driver of all time.

Over the following years we were chosen to design, manufacture and fit graphics to race cars in Formula One, Le Mans, British and World Superbikes and many other formula. Along with racing graphics came requests to supply pit garage display boards, banners, flags and a myriad backdrops for press launches and exhibitions.

2012 proves to be another exciting year for Coast, as we have once again been chosen by multiple touring car champions Triple Eight Race Engineering to supply all graphics for the MG race team. Sponsored by Tesco through their petrol and energy drink brands, we once again team up with champion drivers Jason Plato and Andy Neate.

Similarly one of the ten Elite Teams in British Superbikes has chosen us as their graphics partner for their assault on the 2012 championship.

Sailing has also been a significant part of our history and this year has already seen the GAC Pindar Extreme 40 win at the series opener in Oman, fully branded by ourselves once again. The skipper, Ian Williams, will take part in the World Match Racing Tour wearing clothing supplied and branded by us.

A number of other projects have already seen success this year including complete hull wraps and 100% sail painting. The wide range of equipment we have invested in enables us to design and manufacture projects completely in-house, giving us ultimate control over quality and production schedules, therefore ensuring that all projects are completed on time.

To date, our company is proud to report a 100% ‘no-fail’ success rate on all projects undertaken over a 20 year history; a truly extensive period to test efficiency and quality.

Our staffing levels reflect the importance we place upon in-house quality control. Unlike the majority of our competitors we do not employ part-time or casual labour but consider it vital to train our own staff to the highest levels of competency. Our staffing levels are significantly higher than the norm within the branding industry, again illustrating our absolute commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

The materials that we use are only from established, proven suppliers; thereby helping to guarantee the quality and durability of all the products we manufacture. We are continuously researching new, greener products as part of a strong environmental ethic.
